Great Grandfather and Founder of Family Liniment
Great Grandfather Davidson served in the Kings Own Scottish Borderers (KOSB) from 1926-1934. He endeavoured in many sporting activites during this timeframe such as the image below with the cross country run team. On several occasions they were winners amongst other arm forces regiments. During this timeframe at helping other enlisted men who were in the cross country team he started to develop and work on the Family Liniment. Which is the original formula that is still formulated today under four generations.

As you can see from the image above, Great Grandfather Davidson served his time during WW2. During this timeframe he served his time in conflicts such as Dunkirk, India as well as in Singapore. During this period he also fought the Japanese and on one conflict in India he ended up with a bayonet in the shoulder. On Another occasion during hand to hand combat he single handedly went through 12 japanese soldiers before reaching the commander who presented him and surrendered. He had been making the liniment during the conflicts, and was using it on fellow enlisted men during the war to help them recover so they could keep on fighting.

As shown in the image to the left, Great Grandfather Davidson completed his seven years of service with the King's Own Scottish Borderers from 1926 to 1934. Please note that this was prior to the outbreak of the Second World War.

As seen in the image to the right, post–World War II Britain was still in recovery, with food ration books being issued to help manage shortages and support war refugees.
