Level I Certificate and Elective

Prerequisite - Certificate IV or Diploma of Anatomy and Physiology and Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy from this college or equivalent qualification from an approved college.

Duration: 1 x 3 hrs.and 30 min. lecture per week for 6 weeks.
Workshop Date : June 6 2020 and June 13 2020

College Site: Blacktown Campus.

Certificate of Attendance - 1x 6 hour workshop for 2 Saturdays. Blacktown Campus.

This course enables the student/participant understand Aromatherapy as the ancient art of applying and using essential oils and other aromatic substances to the body in order to enhance health and beauty, promote wellness, aid in alleviating dis-eases, and restoring a feeling of well-being within the body and environment.

The popularity of and for Aromatherapy is increasing as illustrated by many recently published articles and books on this subject. The course covered within this first stage of Aromatherapy will include the following:

Origin and history of Aromatherapy
The skin and its care
The Olfactory system
Effects of essential oils and its
Functional application.

This is a comprehensive course and has a continuing learning process leading to a Diploma of Aromatherapy -Certificate IV.
