Level I Certificate and Elective

Prerequisite - Certificate IV or Diploma of Anatomy and Physiology and Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy from this college or equivalent qualification from an approved college.
Duration: 1 x 3 hrs.and 30 min. lecture per week for 6 weeks.
Time: 6pm - 9.30pm - Thursday
College Site: Blacktown Campus.

Certificate of Attendance - 1x 6 hour workshop for 2 Sundays. Blacktown Campus.

This course covers comprehensive techniques based on oriental acupressure methods and remedial massage techniques on natural beauty therapy. The basic treatment includes the following:

 

  • Facial massage
  • Sinus drainage
  • Scalp massage
  • Application of natural facial cosmetics
  • Facial mask/s
  • Removal of make-up
  • Skin blemishes and
  • Up-lifting sensations.


This is an interesting, challenging and enjoyable course which suits both the student and participant who intends to help others or even oneself.
