Level I Certificate and Elective

Prerequisite - Certificate IV or Diploma of Anatomy and Physiology and Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy from this college or equivalent qualification from an approved college.
Duration: 1 x 3 hrs.and 30 min. lecture per week for 6 weeks.
Time: 6pm - 9.30pm - Thursday
College Site: Blacktown Campus.

Certificate of Attendance - 1x 6 hour workshop for 2 Sundays. Blacktown Campus.

This course enables student to conduct therapeutic intervention in water using special techniques of massage therapy and muscle manipulation in pool and spa to relieved body aches and discomfort. Professional hydrotherapy intervention from a qualified therapist is beneficial and enhancing to one's health and health status.Student and participant will gain a basic knowledge of hydrotherapy at the completion of the course and will be able to work with the aquafitness and gymnasium therapists.
